The Church Reclaims October 31st

I have always grappled with celebrating Halloween. Even as a child, my Parents never took me trick or treating and we did not go to many churches that held Halloween events. Recently, I listened to 2 ex-Satanists, who had been converted to Christianity for at least 5 years or more, speak out against the Christian Church celebrating Halloween on October 31st. Halloween originated as the Festival of Samhain originated over 2,000 years ago, and both have always included Satanic influences and witchcraft. I also discovered that on October 31st, the highest amount of missing persons are averaged yearly and human sacrifices are also done on this date by Satan worshippers. In addition, Halloween is the only event that has its foundations rooted in the occult and in witchcraft. Christmas and Easter were both originally pagan holidays that the Christian Church celebrates. However, only Halloween is rooted in demonic elements and worship. When you are exposed to truth, you have to make a new lifestyle decision(s) and act upon it.

See to it that nobody enslaves you with philosophy and foolish deception, which conform to human traditions and the way the world thinks and acts rather than Christ.

So, here’s my decision regarding celebrating Halloween on October 31st that I hope I can convince you as a reader to do as well. I recommend that we as the global Christian Church and as an individual temple of the Holy Spirit to cease participating in all Halloween festivities. Instead, join me in re-claiming this day, October 31st, by participating in prayer and fasting for our communities, children, for the light of Jesus to save more ex-Satan worshippers, and to pray against the works of darkness being done in our communities and throughout the world on this day. Thus, I am challenging you to let this October 31, 2025 begin a new personal and corporate Church tradition to participate in a day of Prayer and Fasting on this date and to stop celebrating Halloween and it’s cleverly Satanic-disguised traditions. Through prayer, I know that our Savior will be pleased, and we will see a righteous harvest from our efforts by erecting a new holiday tradition and victory for the Church on October 31st! I have named our new holiday, "Hallowed Be Thy Name". Together, I know that we will see more Satan worshippers, witches, and warlocks drop their imitator Master and worship Jesus Christ, our eternal risen Savior and Lord! Through our new Oct. 31st day of prayer and fasting, we will see chains broken and lives changed by showing the unsaved world that CHRISTians care enough about them to pray for them to know and experience the One True God and Savior, Jesus Christ (See Colossians 1:15-20 below). Because He is God, Jesus is more powerful and has infinite power beyond that of the created angelic foe, Satan! Let's TRUMP Halloween for good!
